Insomnia

Insomnia can be extremely debilitating and can have a serious impact on your quality of life.

 

Sleep is vitally important, not just for your energy levels throughout the day, but also for all the important physiological functions that are supposed to occur when we sleep. Good sleep is necessary for tissue repair, healthy immune function, hormonal and mood regulation among many other things.

People who suffer from insomnia often experience anticipatory anxiety before they attempt to sleep, as they worry that they might not be able to sleep, which in turn contributes to their insomnia.
